She says:

"Caleb immediately caught my attention at DePaul because he was the only boy in one of my Hospitality classes and his computer background had tons of different Pokemon. When we started talking, I learned that not only did we grow up near each other, but we had several of the same friends from elementary/middle school. After starting to spend time with Caleb it became clear that he was different from any other guy. The levels on which we connected were just unreal. I really did try to stay just-friends; because I was worried I was going to ruin our connection. However, I was so happy when Caleb decided he didn't want to just stay friends, because I knew I had found the person I was meant to be with."

He says:

"I had a broken heart when I came back to DePaul in fall 2015. Kelly was in several of my classes; we started walking to and from class together. She had an incredibly positive impact on my life. I just felt good in her company. More than that, I felt good about myself when I was with her, which was a completely new feeling in my life. She lit up my world like a beacon and still does. We started dating in November that year, and I've never looked back."
